I see no point in staying here anymore. After getting promoted as a Team lead, there is a 13% hike in the fixed component. But here’s the catch, about 50% of the total Hike what I got is allocated towards Gratuity. Something which I will only if I stay here for 5 yrs. So the effective hike is only 7% , this is the worst promotion hike ever…. anyone else facing the same issue ?

Compensation restructure portal is open. I looked at it to set the Basic pay % and verified the components .. The total amount matches only when I consider the Gratuity amount.

That's not gratuity, but ex-gratia. Chill you'll get the salary
