Promotion from Y to C1

Heard that promotion from ASE-Trainee to SE is automatic unless you fall under PIP. So you start as an ASE-Trainee with 3.36LPA, then what it is like after 1yr (ASE) and 2 yrs (SE). Does it land up around 7LPA after 2 yrs (what Digital associates get right from the beginning) ?
