I got promoted to senior analyst on nov 2022 it’s been 2 years now so now in This cycle can I expect promotion? Usually after how many years we will be eligible for next promotion (to become lead/ specialist) my performance is overall good past 2 years

From what I have been told, there is a cooling period of at least 18 months between two promotions.

Ideally who gives us promotions? Does it really depend on our project manager, leads or HR? In my project there is lot of politics even tho we are good performer still the one who highlights more doing nothing gets good credit
