Promotion from C1 to C2

Hi I joined tcs on august 2023 and I will complete 2 yr in tcs soon. I joined directly on digital (c1 grade). How much experience is required to get promotion to c2.

I’m currently in dev project, became a dependent resource. My Manger told me that he will try to nominate me for promotion cycle in aug.

Does experience matter or he is making me fool?

Of course making fools , even if you got 2 A bands , they are not providing for 4.5 years and this is getting trend now and if you have less A bands, then forget till 5 years .

4.5-5yrs of total experience is sure…meanwhile try to grab good ratings ,and appreciation from clients if possible to showcase your visibility and work
