I joined TCS when I was having 3.9 years experience as a C1. They denied giving me C2 while joining because I was lacking just 15 days of experience to complete 4 years.
Now I'm holding over 7 years of experience still stuck on c1 grade. 🥲

Earlier it was 4 years people getting promotion now a days no one knows when promotion window gets open as its closed since 2 years
