I recently joined a new project, and my current manager said they already have a priority list of people to be promoted in the November cycle, so I shouldn't get my hopes up.

What should I do now? Should I talk to my previous manager?

Can my previous manager help me get promoted since I have completed 25 MAL and have more than 3 years of experience?
