My manager has nominated me for TA role. If the leaders didn't promote me. Will I get to know that information ?

How long will it take for me to know an outcome?

One quarter atleast. If you don’t get letter within 3 months . You can assume your name was dropped and will be considered next. Once your manager nominates you will eventually get it depending on number of slots
