My manager is saying we have few cases where people are not promoted last 5 years and working in same designation

CG is one of the most irregular in terms of promotions and increments. Even if they promote you to a higher band, they often do NOT give any increment or negligible increment. I am here since 10 years and I have the official record for the lowest compensation of just 8.5 lpa. I don't lick @ss and slack alot, so I'm stuck. If you slog and prove your getting em business, your promotions n increments will be faster. I mean it's very project and case to case dependent. But overall it's a slow growth for the normies like me.
