Promotion cycle
Hi TCSers, I am 4.5 YoE. Am i eligible to be promoted from C1 to C2 Digital profile with good performance history and bands. I was recently told for this promotion i should ask my supervisor to nominate me and corporate will approve some percentage for promotion. Is this true? Also when should I ask the supervisor to nominate for promotion?
I’ve seen folks with 5 YOE waiting for a promotion. My advice would be work on your skills and leave TCS

You should have been already C2 by now. I joined TCS as C2 with 4+ YoE. Talk to your supervisor and be visible to higher management(above your supervisor).
As soon as your 4 years are complete, you get eligible starting the next quarter... Of course ultimately it depends on your manager when your name will be added to the list and when you will be promoted.
From C1( Systems Engineer) to ITA C2 it takes minimum of three years, and if all A band means you should definitely get
