Promotion cycle and its order to raise it
I have been in TCS for 6 years now and yet I’m still in C1 due to various reasons. ( It’s my choice staying in TCS rather than working hard in other companies so please refrain from advising to change company ) Normally we get ITA promotion after 4-5 years. So I need to know when the promotion should happen for after C2. I don’t know a lot things here. So please give me some insight. I need in how many years I can move to C2, C3 etc
This is general range for promotion grades 0-2 Y and C1Y 2-4 C1 4-8 C2 8-13 C3A 13-18 C3B Then C4
This is not always followed but approx exp range. Promotion depends on many things. First you need to talk to your Manager about it. You might need to fight for it. At 6 years you should be at C2
I have been talking to managers(like 3 projects) for past 2 years but either the client got mad and released everyone and other domain itself got dissolved due to change in CEO so all happened . I hoping that I will get this year and I m having 2 A band for 2 consecutive years . Let’s see 🤞🏻
