Promotion Criteria in TCS
Hi Everyone,
As a fresher I joined TCS in 2022. I have a total work experience of around 2.54 years in TCS. I got my grade promotion from C1Y(Assistant Systems Engineer) to C1(Systems Engineer) in TCS this year. Till now my last 2 band appraisals in TCS are A. So when can I expect my next grade promotion to happen in TCS that is from C1 to C2(IT Analyst)?
Can Anybody here share the promotion criteria for TCS? How grade promotion is carried out in TCS?
Same story but I joined in 2021. Until 3 years are completed, your manager cannot initiate promotion. Once initiated there is no guarantee when you will get the promotion. In my case I got it in 3.5 years. With 2 A bands in the past years
You should have 3 or 4 years of experience for C2 eligibility. However, this may depend on the management. Check with your manager
