Now I am a senior systems Engineer who completed 3.8 years..in that I spend 9 months in maternity leave...and around 8 months I was in bench and one year in support project ....but now I am in a development project for 8 months and I did my best in my current development project...I asked my manager regarding my Technology analyst promotion...he asked me to check eligibility with HR ..HR informed like manager needs to decide...I told the things to manager ....my manager neither said Ok nor NO...again I remind him about my promotion..he never replied...I don't know what idea he is in....really on what basis they are giving Technology analyst role
2 quarters ago I asked my manager for promotion and she said she nominated me. But i didn't got promotion in subsequent quarter. When I asked my manager about this again she said that due to my long bench period I was ineligible for promotion in that quarter.
How long were you on bench
Well you need to complete 1 year as SSE but again promotion depends on the manager. I asked my manager as soon as I completed 1 year as an SSE and I got a promotion.
I joined infosys on 2022 jan on that year only I was in bench for 9 months but 3 yrs have passed
