Promotion C2 to C3 In-hand Clarification
If there's a promotion from C2 to C3A, will inhand salary increase, decrease or remain same ?
Whosoever has experienced it earlier, pls clarify
There is no increase in salary ...bcoz until C2 - ua variable pay is 100%.. where as once after C3a..ua variable pay will vary like 30%-40%
I see, but let's say there's 15% hike on promotion, net net will we have still same salary or minor increase or major decrease is also possible?
Minor increase in monthly salary...but performance bonus ll be a major decrease compared to the variable pay received in Q2..SO U will feel no major increase ...

And if you are around 15-16 package then loss most likely.
Overall it would be similar to what your are getting now… major portion of the increment would go in variable pay… which from last 2..3 years has declined to 25..30 percent… basic would increase for sure which increases your PF ( deduction from your salary and company contribution) so if you square it down… you would see no change in net salary
Decrease as major portion of the increment (15%) will be added to variable and u’ll get 30% variables only which currently u r getting 100%
