Trending @Wipro; Promotion B1 to B2 is possible in any quarter?

Hi everyone, What's the policy of promotion B1 to B2 in Wipro like when we'll ask the manager so it can happen in any quarter or in last/once in the year only? Suppose if someone is not promoted in January so can s/he ask for promotion in next quarter or need to wait for next year?
