Trending @Accenture; Promotion and Hikes - June 2025

Just came to know from my manager that hike will be given to only those who will be promoted, others won’t be getting anything.

I work in a project which has like 200+ members.. I don’t think they will promote even 10 people out of it.

A new way from accenture to not to give long due hikes to employees.

What are your thoughts?

Yes In June hike will be given to only those who are promoted am, but hike will also be given for dec for all employee so from now onwards those who will get promoted in June will enjoy double hike

But isn’t it unfair… accenture hired so aggressively and now when it is time to do something for the old employees… these bullshit policies.. then the expect the employee to stay loyal to one company for years and years.. idk but seems unfair to me

If you get promoted in Dec - you get both yearly hike and promotion hike as well, it’s just that we don’t see them two separate components but HR’s have a tab on it

So suppose if we don't get promoted for 3 years so to oppose increasing inflation we only have to depend upon December hikes (Got my motivation for the switch)

There is a major shift in US for Accenture, will that effect promotions?

Considering there policies… its a must now it seems

Is this a sign of silent layoff !? Giving no hike and motivating the employees to quit, instead of explicitly laying off

Yes might be the case… but the people who are sitting in same company for 3 years… their switch is long overdue anyways in my opinion
