I joined Infosys as an Operations Executive in December 2021, and later the role was renamed to Systems Associate. During the Freshers Training Program, I was trained in Mainframe technologies, but I didn’t get assigned to any project at that time. After 2.5 years, I was allocated to a networking-related project, which doesn’t align with my interest, as I prefer development projects. This project has been quite demanding, with an average daily working time of 11-13 hours and no proper weekends, as work often extends into weekends as well.

Now, having completed 3 years at Infosys, I haven’t seen any promotion, progression, or salary increment. I was also placed on PIP during the 2023 evaluation cycle. I’m wondering if there’s any chance of a role change or salary hike in the 2024 evaluation cycle. Additionally, they’ve made it clear that they won’t provide a release, and during discussions about resignation, my leads have discouraged me by saying I wouldn’t find another job if I leave Infosys. I’m currently in a challenging situation. What are your suggestions, everyone?
