What is the typical promotion and appraisal cycle at Infosys. I have observed that some promotions seem to occur mid-quarter or outside the annual appraisal period?

Promotion recommendation happens every quarter once you are eligible
Appraisal is a joke here, they give whenever they like. Last year we received emails in Feb with Appraisal effective from Jan 2025.

Promotion slots come every quarter. But not all levels come every quarter. Appraisal (ratings) cycles is Oct to Sep. hike cycles which is completely broken currently is April.
