Promotion

I have been waiting for the promotion from C3A to C3B for 2 years . Now it says Pending with HR. HR says the promotion cycle is not yet open . How long shall I wait ?

Now the HR says , promotion is stuck at corporate level and promotion for C3A associates is not yet open.

Generally one is eligible after 3-4 yrs with A or B band and no decline in band from one year to next year. But all depends on your manager and account. It’s been 6 years since I got my last promotion to C3A. My break from work and non eligibility for band for one year was the reason I was not considered for recent promotion. The performance grade for 4 years prior to that went waste.
