Trending @Cognizant; Promotion A to SA
I have 5 years 6 months years of experience in total. In cognizant I joined as associate and completed 3 years 1 month in cognizant. When can I expect a promotion and what would be hike?. Iam getting mails regarding IJM (Internal job movement) from 6 months that iam promotion eligible but I am not getting promoted. I asked my manager and she had a discussion with her manager and got information that they will do in next quarter. What can I expect?
If they done in the next quarter you will not get hike, iam also facing same roblem

A recent update: cognizant will give an appraisal hike in August; if you get a promotion next quarter, they will not have you the hike ....that's it, bro.
Ijm is when they promote. Like there are set of associate in a team. Example team lead . Then senior associate then 2-3 associate then 1-2 PA. When get promoted to a then they again hire PA if someone decides to leave or change company. And the associate move to sA role in internal switch. That's how it is my team manager lod me
Internally only way to get promoted is through IJM only... Even if you get it in the same team or you have to move to a different one
