I joined Infosys in March 2022 I'm a systems engineer. I was in a project for 8 months and then got ramped down (due to revenue issue) and was on bench for 3 months and then got rehired to the same project and working till present date. I didn't get any promotion yet. When I asked my manager he said I need to do some exams for getting promotion. He also said that I need to have 2 years of project experience. But getting ramped down was not my mistake. So is it true about what he said? Cause I thought becoming a sse was a mandatory promotion.
Any idea on this ?
For SSE you need to spend only 3 months in a project and 2yoe It doesn't matter how much time you have been spent on the bench talk to the manager and HR
Se to sse progression if by default . Sse to TA need 3 yoe and manager’s recommendation to DM
SSE is default
