Promotion!

If this July 25 comes I will be completing two years of service with TCS ! I am currently with C2 grade what would be the next grade and how much % I can expect in my overall CTC? Any leads please help me out !

They wont easily promote anyone who is in tcs for just 2 years. From c2 to c3a

If u get promoted, it will be 15%

This is true. I have been battling here for c3 promotion. But there has been lukewarm response from the other side.

It all depends on the manager. In my project a guy got promoted within 1year of joining from C2 to C3A. So duration is not a factor here rather your performance is. Last but not the least you need to fight for it.

The promotions are not that easy. They won't give you if you ask. There are people in line waiting for more than 5+ years and haven't gotten the promotion even with a good performance. It all depends on the manager. And for %, it would be 10 - 15% at max.
