Promotion

These are the criteria for promotion of C1 grade associates to C2:

1. An associate should have spent 4 years in C1 grade. But even if you have completed your 3 years then you can be considered in special case. These years are counted from the day you join TCS.
2. Last two years performance band should be A.
3. Promotion cycle for C1 happens every quarter and your manager nominates your name and send it to the corporate.
4. Corporate reviews the list of associates and processes the promotion and promotion letters are rolled out after quarterly results only.
5. So, if you have completed your 3/4 years in this quarter then you have the right to ask your manager to nominate your name for promotion and by the blessing of God you might get it by next quarter.
