Got my promotion letter yesterday. I'm promoted from SSE to TA, the revised CTC is 5.5LPA (including variable) which is 17.5% hike of the current salary. I heard some people getting 6.5 and 6.8 LPA after promotion. Is there any criteria to get more than 17.5% hike?

I too got the letter yesterday and I got 6.5 LPA. Not sure about the criteria, I got IJP with the help of my manager and my manager retained me for the current project. My last rating was Outstanding
