Of late in the name of diversity we are now seeing people sitting in high ranks travelling to alt locations spending on flight tickets and lux hotel stay for motivating employees by spending 1500 on chai and samosa, FORCING you to play tambola , Waste 1 hour of productive time.
Im not against diversity , im more for give deserving people an opportunity irrespective of the race colour religion and gender they belong to .

What is worse , that the shortlisted candidates are being filtered and forwarded for interviews by filter one

Male- Hide the column
Female- shortlisted forwarded for interview
Diversity hiring is plane stupid. Instead of removing a bias another big bias is being introduced.
So this is not a diversity post, this is a sexism post.

It could be happening, but I haven't seen it first hand. And what @KeenCrab57 says is true. I would recommend reading 'Equal But different' by Anita Bhogle. It touches very core of the subject.
This is a sexist post, but I couldn’t agree more with you. Being a feminist myself, I would have dismissed your opinion, until I saw my manager. She is merely banking on her teammates performances of which she understands nothing. Her only job, is to give lectures of corporate etiquettes in team meetings. Haven’t seen someone so unfit for job, both in knowledge and experience. Hsbc is just being another government bank , promoting just on the basis of years spent inside organisation.
