Why many projects are leaving TCS then they are releasing people by saying Resource Optimization What could be the major reason?
Most prolly talent management. Companies want Quality over Quantity and its hard to find it these days especially for service companies with the salary they are offering and yeah these orgs operate on thin margins.
Talent is also leaving cause of being mistreated. People want to work in a company where they are treated better. Service companies cant offer that much of comfort.
Then there is the issue of most companies starting up their own units in our country and hiring.
Plus remote working through contracts are becoming easier.
People have come to a conclusion, travelling to work in TCS for low salary with less hikes better to relearn & upskill get into an organisation that gives remote advantage & for some hike. TCS will plan to change on few things but by that time damage will be done & experienced. Most of the client base is lost.
If you are relearning/reskil8ng, do demo projects and upload the result, code in internet... showcase such project sin your cv to get the next job ... it works to get the next contract.
When you don't have money, you monitor tubelight and fans.
This is happening with customers, they are looking for ways to save money. They are looking at what tcs is providing and can they cut that position.
