Trending @Capgemini; Projects Availablity
I am really tensed and personal life is getting impacted.
I recently joined this month in Capgemini with around 10 years experience. I just have pre-mapped unit but currently on bench and will be getting multiple client interviews. Do they have soon give projects if someone is average candidate technically? Or will keep them on bench until too strong technically.

Ideally you should start receiving calls, the interviews won't be that difficult, get your basics right

Actually I attended bench call, can see lots of people on bench without projects so got bit worried. Yes, they said next week will be start getting calls as resume not shared yet with clients.

Haha , for right person there Will be always place in cg👍 prepare topics covered in your resume, that’s enough!

I am taking interview for one of the banking client project in which I am working from last 3 months.

Oh that’s great. Even in my previous organisation it was same, but there we were considering if someone have just basic idea. Not that much deep advanced level

In cg ,people are crazy.Asking everything on deeper level and when in project nothing makes sense.

No relation between average or better candidate. RMG proposes project blindly and you have to crack interview

That is what I meant, RMG propose projects irrespective of skills candidate is having. They only see what skills unit requires, not sure then why they hire. How difficult would be to crack totally depends on matching skillset or opposite skillsets

By the way, what will be the level of client interviews here? They ask basic concepts or dig into more advanced topics of particular technology

If you on bench, up skill yourself and utilize this time. Don't bother about RMG, they behave like bots. RMG just want you to be tagged somewhere, irrespective of your skill set. It is because if you on bench company is paying your salary. And if you on project you are billable (means project pays your salary).
If you have some contacts internally then reach out to them. Don't wait for RMG to act. If you don't like any opportunity just say no. RMG may harass you as they want to get rid of you. But stay calm and focused on what you want.

Thanks for suggestions, helpful. But RMG mentioned not to try outside currently mapped Practice unit. So, IJP and outside opportunities won’t be able to explore. Completely need to depend on RMG until unless they release from unit to central bench.

I joined Capgemini 3 months back as consultant B2 and still on bench from day 1. will they ask me resign?
My tech stack is automation testing.
Please help me with the answers..
