Trending @Accenture; Project Transition Suggestion

Hi all,

I’m currently staffed on a project for the past few months. While I appreciate the learning experience so far, I’ve realized that the nature of the work and the role do not align with my core interests or long-term goals.

I have already reached out to my People Lead to request a release, but I was informed that my client manager has given a positive review and mentioned I’m a “good resource,” even suggesting to find more resources like me. While I appreciate the feedback, I personally don’t feel that this justifies holding me in a role I am not satisfied with.

I’m looking for professional guidance or suggestions on how to proceed further in requesting a smooth transition from the project. Has anyone been in a similar situation where:

The client rated you well but you wanted to move on?

Your request for release was denied or delayed?

You found an effective way to navigate this?

Any advice on how I can professionally escalate or move forward would be really helpful. Thank you in advance.
