Trending @Capgemini; Project to Bench.
I got an email today that I will be moved to the bench after getting released from the project. The message says that you need to find another project within 30 days. My Question is what if I am unable to find another in 30 days. Will I be fired? Does Capgemini fire employees?

Connect with your RMG. There are RMG's for different regions. Connect with them mentioning your primary and secondary skills. You will get. About firing it depends, some people get pipe in 2-3 months and many are here on bench since more than a year. Depends on your skills and BU.

Your grade? Maybe not this soon, they will provide project calls... But yeah after failing multiple interviews ... They will send you to BOTP and then if you fail there also... Then they may ask you to resign.... Not sure just heard from people about this lengthy process... Please be serious and start preparing for project interview

Also I was hired straight into the project. But soon after I joined the clients changed requirements and my skill was no longer needed. I am a mobile app developer using Flutter. My joining date was 24th Jan and now I got released from the project.

No no,you will not be fired at all,it’s just the time period or you can say a notice given to you. After releasing you will get 90 days more to find the project or may be more then that as well, if you didn’t find any but I hope you will get the project soon and you will not be in this situation of passing 90 days because you have to face HR if you are closer to 90 days.

Is it same case with lateral joiner also ? Joined here as B1 with 10 Lpa (4 YOE) after joining project got it is very hectic and has rotational shifts so asked release from project ... Manager agreed to release what your suggestions on this pls DM me i am.not able to DM you

Prepare for the worst case scenario... Upgrade meanwhile, try outside , utilise the time you get on the bench... If they allocate a project well and good, otherwise once you got into pip you may be allowed for 45days of time ...so you will roughly get 3months time, get prepared , if things go well and yu got an offer outside and project inside go for... Drop the papers and go out or go for cg if you've fallen in love with cg😂😂😂 first things first , don't worry.

I never understand why do we have to find the project? What the dedicated Talent Team or Staffing team of respective Account/BU/Practice does? They have lot of data, why they don’t reach out to people on bench? Also when someone says, search for project, is there any portal to search for?
