Share them your skills set and ask them if they have any openings in their own team. If not, ask them if they can check with their peers. This is the best way since the hr is not interested in securing a project for you and you reaching out will be considered as added advantage as your willingness to work

Update your secondary skills in my competency and take the assessments maintain at least (P2) and start working on respective skills on (personal projects)
