II will be rolled off from my current project next month, after having worked here for 2 years and 3 months. Since the application I was working on has been decommissioned, my role is no longer required. Could you please let me know within how many days I can expect to be aligned to a different project?

Ask them to set a roll off date for you.
As soon as it gets up, you will be found suitable for other projects under your Delivery unit.
They schedule interviews and you can align yourself to their requirements.
First thing is to have a roll off on your profile, and mail should be available with you.
