Trending @Accenture; Project roll off

Can i get project roll off by simply sending an email to manager. My immediate supervisor is rude in behaviour and scolds in front of others in a team call for smaller issues like not updating counts in Excel, not knowing things on tips. Even if its my fault, is it good idea to scold in a teams call with others ? Need suggestions

Idk bro some managers in Accenture follow this pattern roll off a person and give negative feedback and put them in PIP even if their performance is on point these bloody managers they do favorism

Yes very unfair practice. But imagine you are a manager. If putting someone in pip is mandatory would you give it to one of ur current team members or the people who left?

Bro, Yeah you can reach out to your lead and manager by connecting on teams and asking for rolloff, say you have this aspiration blah blah, and looking for change.

I know it looks very embarrassing when lead scold you in-front of entire team , i have never experienced this from my lead , but now i tell you other part of my scrum call, my mangers who at level 7 get scolded badly by my asoc director in Front of whole team member where juniors like ASE too there, just think what kind of embarrassment mangers going through, from that day i lost the respect of Manager position 😂

Talk to your HR. Raise a grievance. We are not in kindergarten to get scolded in calls. Expectations can be conveyed in a soft tone. Meanwhile, you also pls try to see what you can try to improve

Yes you can get roll off. Talk to your HR, discuss the issue and highlight that it’s affecting your morale. The behaviour is out of line and doesn’t align with Accenture’s code of conduct. Request your manager to approve your roll-off request. The only negative point I could see is they might give bad feedback which could come up during your next appraisal discussion.

They’ll raise PIP for sure after negative feedback, Accenture management has been doing this since covid.

Try being proactive and be on top of your deliverables and see if his/her behaviour changes. If not then you can simply talk to the project manager about the rude behaviour and ask for a change of supervisor instead of asking of roll off. It won’t look negative on your part at the same time this will not make you run away but solve the problem. Let me know if you try this what was the result 🙂

Raise grievance and requesting to get roll off from project and include Accenture leadership and his reportee.

you have the right to raise a concern with project HR for any kind of harassment by Lead/ Manager. Don't just ask for rolloff and leave. It will backfire on you only. Stay there, go through the escalation process and make it right. I am in accenture for last 10years. Gone through multiple such individuals and they are gone. So stand for what is right 👍🏻

Give him back when he scolds you. He will roll off automatically 😀

Literally it had damaged me to such extent that I am crying for no reason. Mentally it has exhausted me this whole episode
