Trending @Accenture; Project Roll off
I am about to finish my maternity leaves and to join back to the project but due to health issues am unable to to rotational shifts and take care of my baby aswell, so I asked my manager to release me from the project because I can't ask each month constant shift which might concern to other team members aswell. He said it's not difficult to release me from the project since I am giving the reason for the genius health issues. But my concern is once I get released from the project how to find the new project? Will they move me to Bench? Will I get a call from other managers? What if I don't get the project? Any help or guidance on this?

In my opinion, this is a classic example of Accenture's lack of empathy towards its employees. They prioritize projects over people's health. Once you're released, you're on your own. Yes, you might be moved to the bench and it's a gamble whether you'll get a call from other managers. We need to be proactive and network aggressively. If you don't find a project, it's not your failure, it's Accenture's failure to recognize your worth.

Its not good at bench currently, please stay in project and maybe ask him for one shift. There are very few projects and many people on bench.

I have a colleague who once took maternity leave and returned. She also had the same concern, but our manager allowed her to work only in the standard shift [8AM-6PM]. So ask your manager, it depends on them.
