Trending @Wipro; Project reviews thread 2024 - Why you will never work in a good team
There is no space where we can openly share the review of our account / project / team with anyone. You likely don’t even meet people from other accounts to talk about how the culture there is.
The middle management’s practices hide behind the lack of information. The HR department which should make them accountable also does not have any open available information to work with and only step in when things go out of hand.
We all deserve to work at a great company. But for that we must first know how things are going in their account or project (Which ever is less likely to reveal your identity)
Good research on projects dictates our career trajectory.
Please tell us if we should look forward to joining your team and if possible a detailed review with it.

The DBS project is nice - 4/5.
I was ASE for the last year there. Relatively low pressure in the last 6mo. Learning and promotion both achieved.
My delivery lead is unfortunately very toxic and sometime shouts.

I'll start, I work on Aerospace (Boeing).
Overall: 3/5 & not great for freshers.
- Team is saturated with very few promotion opportunities within it.
- Hours are very hectic and team leads will push you for more work often - they are kind but have their hands tied.
- High pressure from client
- Seniors are helpful and there is great learning on the project

Lloyds Banking Group is really good. Client is v friendly and lot of opportunities to switch internally between projects and lot of new technologies being introduced now. Work life balance is perfect here. I would rate it 4/5. Leaving out 1 because they’ve started their own offshore centre so not sure how long they will keep Wipro for.

@AncientServant Heard good things about it too!

Avoid anything Wells Fargo. Client puts so much pressure 😭😭😭.
