Project release policy and RMG movement
What is the actual project release policy in tcs? I am in bfsi domain. Today I got to know that you cannot get project release directly to rmg. It's won to won transfer. You look for a project and then you can move directly from existing project once you have completed 3 years.
The project release policy is a maze. You need to be in the same project for 18-24 months. RMG is a bottleneck. Finding a new project yourself is the best bet. Frustrating, isn't it?
Yes. When I joined, the release timeline was 2 years. Then they increased to 3 years. Now, you have to be in same project for 3 years only then you are eligible.
Apart from this, I was aware that after project release, you need to report to rmg tcs office. But it seems, they changed policy again. It doesn't work like that at all
