Project release looks like it's not easy.

I am from a technical background, looking for an good opportunity and want to move ahead with my career as currently I don't see growth in there. My manager here is not releasing asking to find replacement , how to deal this situation. Valuable suggestions please.

If he said find replacement then you can ask him list of candidates to evaluate. Once you evaluate and find your replacement in your project, you can ask release. Note that keep everything over email. Otherwise they'll not release you and will give any random reasons to keep.
