Project Release in tcs

Is it possible for us to talk with our hr if our manager is not approving your request for release. How can we convince them for release since you have completed 2+ years in the same project? Need advice

See project release not an easy task. You have to fight for it. The reason is if someone gets release from a project easily then people starts a Q. Only way is, you have to provide medical reasons and evidences for them. If manager is educated and professional then depending on your reports they will respond. If the manager is uneducated then even if you are in ICU they will not leave you

Yes you are right. But my question is there anyway that we can seek help from HR's. See most projects ask for 2year commitment. Once you have completed that you are eligible for release and if they won't give release how can we use our HR's to help us?

Even if I apply for 2 months leave they won't approve or allow me to take that unless it is for medical reason

Resign

Resigning is not an option for me right now considering the market situation and the layoffs happening at different companies. Also I would like to stick to TCS at least for one year and switch to a different project that is aligned with my skillset.
