Project Release

I have been looking for a release from my project. Can anyone suggest to me the quickest way to get the release I discussed with uplines regarding project release but they are not ready to release me. Reason:- Looking for an on-site project. In the current project, they keep saying that once the opportunity comes then they will consider my profile from last 6 months.

My grade is C1 and the project location is US.
