Trending @Infosys; Project Release
I don’t have any experience in the technology which is used in the project in which I am allocated to, and when I am asking to my Manager to release me from the project, My manager was like you have to work on this technology only. 
Please tell me what should I do?
If you want to stay in Infy, then for now I would suggest you to work on this project because there is a shortage of projects in Infy, so accepting it would be smarter unless you want to be on the bench.
If not the above, then switch and "navigate for the next".
I am serving my notice period and when I am asking the release from the Project, so I guess my manager thinks that I want early release from the company, that’s why I am asking release from Project. They are not understanding that I don’t have any knowledge regarding the technology and there is no KT session given by them. and Project is already 50% completed. And they allocated me now .
Simple...
They don't understand you don't have the knowledge to provide KT, so just provide whatever KT you want, no one is going to cross verify your KT.
That is how you deal with such dumb managers.
Same thing happened with me but somehow I learned the new tech
This happens every big consulting company since they have lots of projects and demand they can only look for resources and level so they don’t care if the person know that thing but they have to arrange KT for sure
Now after 3 yrs I feel like I don’t want to work with same tech and I want to change project now also they are refusing now just think what they will do if you straight away deny a project
It will be worse (looking at current situation) so you don’t have any option now

The project is almost 50% completed, and there is no KT given by the team to me and they just assigned me the project now.

Yes. It happened me also. In infy the management is worst
Which is the technology they assigned you?
If the project has not started and KT has not been done then strongly say no to the manager then manager will raise the project refusal against you After that hr will contact you and they need to convey you but this is a very difficult task. If they agree they will take disciplinary action against you like suspended for 4 days and your allocation change to the bench but I am not recommending you all these things please accept that project and switch to an AEAP
