Project release

I joined TCS in the month of September. I am having 8+ years of exp and worked in 3 companies earlier this is my 4th company. Here since when I joined the team i don't like the politics of the team. Work wise ok but the problem is my teammates are not good. From the initial I was asking my manager for release he said he will speak with them but only for 1 week it will work again the same story they were torching me for small things which I never faced in my entire career. Because of taking unnecessary stress I got many medical issues even I got miscarriage now I am going to rejoin again after leave.

I am not sure whether I will work for the same team or what. I had asked with Hr regarding team she said check with manager still the same manager is there for me in miscarriage leave as well.

Can someone please help me with what to do.

First of all for miscarriage there is a policy some 2 weeks leaves are allowed, now if you are ok and back, chances are less to get same project so dnt start this conversation if they dnt start, it you are with rmg then you might another project and if still you get same project then I dnt think you have no ways to avoid non sense, take WFH do your work and logout. Dnt give much importance if still you are not able to manage as you are mentally stressed then last option is to talk with leadership

Talk to managers manager (incase you have talked with manager already) with all evidences of harrassing or mental stress given by team, if you have recently joined and there is no project criticality, chances are less that they agree with you but if you have some proof they will release you.

It’s nonsense, there is no policy as such for lateral hires, if you have leaves please go ahead. The best way would be to take it up the HR ladder

Although the market is not good. Unless you are the sole bread earner of the family I would say give HR and Rmg an ultimatum if you want me to stay in TCS give me an another project or I am leaving TCS.

Sorry to hear about the loss.. Email HR/Manager CCing HR manager and your Manager Boss that due to office stress and unnecessary politics caused your loss so request for change of project as per your doctor's advice which is stress control. May be you can mention a situation where they treat you badly. They should consider.. if nothing works out tell your manager you planning to go for long leave and they usually replace you
