Project Release

I have convinced my manager to release me from project and I will be having a call next week with Delivery Lead. My basic concerns were lack of motivation at work, no new work opportunities and no promotion from last year despite having 3 consecutive A bands, Hi-Talent flag. I know I am in demand and Client is already ready to hire me with approx 100% hike. although I have always admired Tata legacy and thus want to have a long term career here. Kindly suggest what should I do? Seeking my project dependencies would I get retention offer from project while seeking release or does it only happen in case of putting resignation.
