Project Release

I have completed 5 year in month of Jan. When I asked my manager for promotion ,he told that now HR is publishing list ,if my name will be there is list then only project can give promotion, that' not in project hand. And HR is considering many factors laike Band, RTO and pending promotion .

But my lead told that as I haven't completed milestone challenge of 1.99 that' why project is not giving promotion. They are preferring people with learning factor.

Now after this complensation I am thing to switch but it might take few months so now I am planning to get released from project. Is it a good option?
