Why is getting a release so difficult in Infosys. I am sick of the toxic environment in my project. Can someone please provide some tips on how to get a release?

Don’t work… Do not complete your work in given time… Ask manager everyday regarding project release…

Bad idea, don't indulge in verbal spat, maintain a cordial relationship.

Remember, if you did 100 things right in the past, just 1 wrong can ruin your career track in Infy and you will loose it.
Better upskill and create a positive impact on and off.

I think we can apply only when we are released into the bench pool.. Please correct me if I am wrong

No.. you dont have to be on bench but sorry I forgot that your project maturity should be 18months

Give resignation, up skill yourself, and move on.

If you have completed 18 months in a project then you are eligible for release so if you have completed them 18 months then just tell them to release by the reason of you not interested in the tech stack or you are changing your skill set or tell them you are going for masters or a health issue, you can make up one tell them it's very serious.

FYI. Every project, every location, every unit, everyone in the team is toxic. Whatever the project you go to the same situation you will face. 99% of infy employees are toxic.
