Trending @Infosys; Project release

I got ME rating in 24-25 cycle. My current project is very toxic. I want to get released from it. So if I ask for release, will they put me on PIP? Or I have time till Dec 2026? Please suggest I am new in Infosys. What consequences I can face if I ask for release?

Realsing from the project is chaos. Manager cannnot release you unless you have strong reason.

What if I stop working, then they will release me or what will happen?

They usually don't release if you ask, better to underperform and some escalations they themselves put u out

Ya in my previous Proj someone who went out of infosys handed her work to me and didn’t explain anything and no documentation of her work still because of backtracking her work errors occurred and now they blamed everything on me and moved me out of project
After getting out it seems good riddens from that toxic Proj
