Trending @Infosys; Project Needed - ORC FIN - FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT
Hi Guys, Need some help and advice, was part of a project for 1.5 Years and was released 2.5 Months ago from that.
The Project was re-negotiated and the client wanted less resources as the project was very stable now so resources were trimmed.
Help needed -
- Any openings within your project for ORC-FIN (Fusion Preferred), please reach out to me.
- Even after pinging the TPD manager almost daily there are still no project calls. Is it possible my manager from the past project gave a bad rating? Is there a way to check that?
- I've been looking for a job change as well, but in the month of October I got no interview calls. It's been totally dry. Anything that you can think of might be causing this?

Your skill set is specialised and there may not be many projects in that’s space with infosys. If there were projects your unit itself would have placed you.
TPD manager is just a clerk. Mapping skills to demands mostly there is no demand for your skill and your skills are not very generic to fit another area. Or it could be your unit is still holding you rather than moving you to central bench. So outside your unit your profile is not available.
That can’t be reason for not getting project atleast not in system. New project managers can only look at got rating once you update them as managers in icount
Obviously Oct to December to lean period for hiring. Next year budgets for most US org would be happening now’s so they won’t hire new. Ripple effect across other geography
