Trending @Infosys; Project moving into maintenance phase
I have always been praised as one of the best resources in our project by both client and infy team and received insta awards also for the same. After 2+ years the planned project is in in release phase and will move into maintenance phase soon, manager has released some resources and helped them get into projects but is refusing to release me. I am not happy about moving into maintenance project as I feel that it won't help me learn anything new. I am not sure what is the best action I could make now as I feel working in a maintenance project is not good. Any suggestions are welcome.
Talk to your manager about your career goals. If that doesn't work, look for Internal Job Postings (IJP). Keep learning new skills. Stay professional.
Thank u for your comment. Manager agreed to some of my requests and moved me to the team I wanted within the project. I will be continuing in the project, doing the work that I wanted to do.
