Project managemer is giving permission for wfh but hr is not approving..
Hi All, I have some health issues and I have asked my manager for wfh and he is ok with that but my HR is no allowing me for wfh. What needs to be done in this case?
Management has gone ROGUE, they have just started making decisions without even considering other people conditions.
They should need to understand that, now the condition is not same as pre-covid Era, people are more vulnerable when they work at office, less productive, hybrid model was still better, but forcing this RTO on associates throat is not at all good. Sick of this organization.
For me personally, I will check what changes will happen in July payslip, till then I am swiping from april to june, not sitting for more than an hour
Doing the same ! I have some medical condition too I once raised wfh request and hr was quick to respond to ask medical records ! She followed up on email twice in 2 days to furnish the docs Once I sent them on the same day there was no response ! I sent a remainder mail twice then I stayed back at home doing wfh .my manager once asked me are you guys going to office I said the story and told him if hr is not responding after providing docs that’s not my problem!! This was a year back when they initially stated hybrid this company and management is the worst now ! I am starting to look out for opportunities!! Hearing from friends that tcs is making other companies follow them by calling 5 days wfo!!! If we keep going to ofc 5 days we are setting a wrong example and making it tough for all in the industry!!! I wish all who are not ok with 5day wfo should stick to 2-3 days or whatever they are ok with for atleast one quarter !!!! That shit ceo is claiming everywhere he goes and talk to media that almost all of their employees have been working from office !! He is bolstering that he succeeded in getting employees back to ofc !! Can’t tolerate this dictatorship

Your manager is likely aware that HR won't approve, which is why he's permitting you to work from home. This way, your relationship with him remains unaffected.
In my case it was complete opposite. My unit HR himself sent a mail that I can work from home for 1 month due to medical issues. But my manager denied saying can't approve WFH from project end. " Sab Golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hai " 😂😂😂

In other words its been called as Milibhagat😄 currently your manager approve the request but not by HR, later it will be a vice-versa.
HRs are totally Ash h*le in TCS... never give reply on time and if they gave after long time then they have predefined template what to answer. Some they literally no seeing what we have written in email and just reply with template only..such useless people in TCS
Just do WFH, don’t care abt the QVA.
