Trending @Cognizant; Project Guidance for one YOE

Hey Viners, I'm a year experienced Java developer from ADM I've been into a support project where we have a tool which works on spring boot, I've developed few features on it, later it was acquired by the clients tech team, they made it completely automated, so now we just have to run and validate them which is super boring. I've forgot most of the Java concepts due to regular non tech tasks.

(Most of my friends onboarded with me are still not allocated to Projects few of them we assigned to non billable roles) Initially we were a 5 members team now it's just me and my lead(SA). Sooner or later I might get released.

How is the current situation in ADM bench..!?

Please guide me which is the better time to switch projects or appear for a GencNext role from GenC. Open to any other suggestions..! TIA 🙌
