Project getting closed- PIP

Hi, the project that I’m working on is getting Ramped down this year end. I’m concerned about how much time I’m allowed to be on the bench(for looking out for a good project)considering the things going on in tcs wrt to PIP for those on the bench. Also, I’m WFH for the last 5 months but with WFO exception approval. I’m just thinking out loud that, are they releasing me because I’m working from home and plan to put into PIP ? Or if the project is really getting closed, how much time I’ll get to look for a good project

Don't listen to fake HR . You won't get PIP just because you are on bench or doing wfh. As long as exception is approved and authorised no worries about wfh.

But during bench you will not get wfh. You have to report to rmg in person.

Pip is just a hoax created here on grapewine .

Don't worry, nobody will put you on PIP. Once you are released you'll be released to RMG and you'll start getting project calls. If you don't get selected within a week then they'll move your profile to war room and you will get allocation.

What is this war room?

So when you are not allocated for more than a week or two your profile will be shared across all the projects of your unit and they call it war room

  • Bro, if the project is really closing, you might get some bench time but don't chill too much. 😎
  • TCS is known for pushing people into PIP if they stay on the bench for too long.
  • WFH might be a factor, but it's more about finding a new project quickly.
  • Focus on landing a good project ASAP to avoid any PIP drama.
