Trending @Accenture; Project dilemma and roll off due to health issues
Hello folks
I am into a project around January, as per my standards and client interview feedback I am into two teams as of now.
Till now there’s no proper work assigned to me, supporting the team with their tasks only nothing more than that I am not sure under which team those tasks come under.
I have nothing to do to be frank they are allocating some bulk of documentation work and a lot of support work that’s it. I need to do that within a few hours else my manager will chase me via teams chat, calls and phone calls. I am done with this type of behavior all these months. Also there are no proper KTs planned regarding the work.Along with this there are some internal politics going on within the team.
Because of these things I am unable to focus on my well being and professional life I asked for a roll-off stating my health issues I am facing. He has given me this week’s time to decide as higher level people are a bit busy this week
He’s asking me to go for a long holiday with a loss of pay for a few months, I mentioned to him that I am not thinking like that and again he stated which shifts I am comfortable in working with…
I thought of discussing with the person who interviewed me initially for this project but he’s on long leave …
Will there be any impact of asking for a roll-off in the long run ? Considering my health condition, also if this continues my resume will not have any experience being in this project no this is what I am thinking.

See i am also facing the same , i have health issue, even i asked for roll off, its all in vain , i also got the same instruction to go on a long leave or leave without pay if needed and from my experience what i can say don’t ask for it, in order to justify and so many calls like will change the team within the project, your health will impact and yeah not sure about bad impression but here don’t expect any positive outcome , i would suggest just work on what u can , don’t take extra stress of not completing just submit what u can ,let them know abt your health but i really had bad experience with roll off so don’t ask here , at the end of so much formalities u will feel like to continue with work rather than explaining evn on medical terms its pointless

Seeking roll of good but if u are hardlocked to another project then only u can choose this option of roll off, if not try to ask for ur skill related task. Being on bench is not a good sign in current situation, am on bench so am giving this advice as we are not getting any calls and its so tough here, Am not even getting a support related project calls.
