Project allocation.
Without even consulting me, they assigned me in a project and SWON number is generated. Then I got a call mentioning that I have been added into a project, is it a correct way of adding me into a projects, without even considering my skills and degree. Am a fresher but expertise in specific field. For my batch people they are getting calls from projects to accept or reject. I didn't have that option.
One thing as a fresher . 0 exp .. then y thy will ask your skill… work for 1 year .. understand it environment then act…. As a fresher i was pushed to sap project … 0 exp.. so work and use opportunity.. don’t panic unnecessary… starting 1-2 year not for career building its for understanding the method
This is such a terrible advice, 1-2 years for "uNdeRsTanDinG tHe pRocEsS" muh what process exactly? Some freshers these days who come out of college are skilled enough to have a say in the type of tech they'd want to work on. I'm assuming you're a boomer who has got comfortable with the sluggishness of service based companies and has no idea about how fast things are moving in the real world.
Thts a joke … skilled resource joining tcs ..na brah it doesnt work like that… apart from start ups no company will put you the skill u want… thts comes after 2 year once u go in market..
Did you reject it accept the project? What's the project about?
After ILP a few of my friends were threatened on rejecting projects. They said that there would be escalations just for rejecting their project.
They try all means to make us accept a project just because we are freshers.
So what'd they do? Did they accept those projects?
Directly confront them they will just say escalation bla bla bla, nothing happens even if it gets escalated, keep some personal projects handy telling them that you are working on these skills and if I take some other skill now I will lose my existing skills,
My rmg is so rude. She is like you have signed the offer letter where it's mentioned you should be ready to learn and unlearn 🙂. She doesn't care what our skills are.
Don't let them ruin your career, I was also allocated like this and I had no chance of getting release from project, no matter what.
Stay strong don't let their threats shake you.
Update your Project manager that my interests and skills doesn't align with project. Please release me update same to your RMG . Ask them to show the signed paper where it states you can allocate project without consulting me .

Ahh, classic tcs ....... Ok, You have to take unplanned leave even if they reject. Never show them any amount of good work always be late in calls do not follow ETA never.prove them you are a usless resource.
TL and manager might threaten you but stay strong they can't do sht and TCS won't terminate.( personal exp)
you are fresher you mostly will get C band doesn't matter your efforts. TCS SUCKZ after covid try to take experience from here and get the hell outa here ASAP .

Ask them the same , if you are not interested in project , you’ll have to fight back on it
